The 58-year-old American star recently landed a role on the judging panel of Britain's Got Talent while Cole, 27, is jetting to the US to become a judge on the US version of The X Factor.
Asked if he has any advice for her, he said to UK's Now magazine: 'Just show up and look good. She's got it all. I love Cheryl. She'll be fine.'
The Hoff was recently rumoured to be getting the boot from Britain's Got Talent after it was claimed Simon Cowell was not impressed with his debut.
Asked about those rumours, he said: 'No, no! As Simon said: 'It's all rubbish.' I love that line! Everyone in America was telling me: 'You're being axed from Britain's Got Talent.'
'And I said: 'Well, I've just got off the phone from Simon and he says the ratings are huge!''
