The day after the Hollywood power-couple announced their shock break up the Latino crooner was smiling and blowing kisses to fans during a concert in Bogota.
The only nod to his marital woes was a joke he made about being newly single.
But according to People magazine, his upbeat performance was in stark contrast to his down in the dumps behaviour off-stage.
The 42-year-old, who has twins Max and Emme with superstar diva J-Lo, seemed aloof and visibly sad.
'I saw him when he was passing through the stage, but I think because he split up the day before, he didn't allow anyone to talk to him or anyone to come to his dressing room,' Spanish TV presenter Eva Rey told the magazine.
Rey has been lined up to introduce Anthony at a pre-show party but revealed that he was a no show.
'The people who worked with him said he was a little bit upset, so because of that, they tried to keep everybody from him,' she added.
Anthony kept himself holed up in his hotel room as much as possible.
'Everything he ordered was by room service,' added the presenter. 'He was distant from people.'
But in true superstar form, he didn't hold back when it was time to face his adoring fans, which was no surprise to his guitarist Mario Sebastian.
'He's a performer. He is as confident as all the band members are,' Sebastian said. 'The show always will go on.'
