Marc Anthony ‘engaged’

Marc Anthony is engaged, it has been claimed.

The 46-year-old singer is reportedly set to wed model girlfriend Shannon De Lima.

According to Us Weekly, Marc proposed to Shannon, who he has been dating on and off since 2012, back in March.

And the nuptials are fast approaching, with the publication reporting Marc and Shannon, believed to be 26, will wed in the Dominican Republic later this month.

The wedding will also mean another addition to Marc's brood, as Shannon is mother to a seven-year-old son Daniel.
Marc is already a father of six He has four children from previous relationships and six-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez.

The engagement reports come after Jennifer recently opened up about the state of her relationship with Marc, from whom she split in 2011 after seven years of marriage.

While they are on good terms, the Maid in Manhattan actress still finds it tricky to explain the situation to her offspring.

"It's funny; they asked me about like, what happened with me and their dad. They're six now. I tell them certain things, and then I say, 'When you're older I'll explain it to you.' But what I would hope they get from the book is that they save me," she said during an interview on The Today Show. "Their love and loving them and them coming into my life really made me re-evaluate what I was doing with my life, and the relationships and the choices I was making in relationships sometimes, that only had to do with me, not the other person."
