The Wanted's next tour will be their last "for a while".
The English-Irish boyband, consisting of Siva Kaneswaran, Max George, Nathan Sykes, Jay McGuiness, and Tom Parker, will launch their Word of Mouth tour in March, according to UK newspaper The Mirror.
And in a statement that broke fans' hearts on their official website Wednesday, the group announced they plan to part ways after the final concert.
"This tour will be their last for a while as Tom, Max, Jay, Siva and Nathan have collectively decided to take time to pursue personal endeavours following the tour's conclusion," the statement reads.
"The band wants to stress to their fans that they will continue on as The Wanted and look forward to many successful projects together in the future.
"They thank their fans for their continued love and support and look forward to seeing them on tour."
As The Mirror reports, social media was rocked by the groups' shocked fans.
And it didn't take long for "The Wanted" to begin trending on Twitter.
"The Wanted were the first band I fell in love with. I know it's only a "break" but I can't imagine them not being together. It hurts," one user wrote.
Siva and Nathan did their best to reassure distraught followers, writing: "We love you guys."
The Wanted, who share Justin Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, formed in 2009. The following year they catapulted to fame with their self-titled debut album.
The Word of Mouth Tour is currently scheduled to wrap on May 17, 2014 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
