The Wanted are fighting to end texting and driving.
The boyband, comprised of Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes, have joined a campaign called It Can Wait, which raises awareness about the dangers of being distracted behind the wheel.
In a tweet posted on the band's feed Friday, the singers urged fans to get the message out.
"Help us spread the word that no text is worth a life. Take the #ItCanWait pledge & join the movement at ItCanWait.com," the tweet read.
Those who click the link are greeted with the following message: "No text message, email, website or video is worth the risk of endangering my life or the lives of others on the road".
The pledge urges those who sign not to take part in these activities while driving and to help educate others on the issue.
The Wanted's message comes just days after the band disappointed fans by cancelling its European tour dates, citing "unforeseeable changes" in scheduling.
"Rest assured all tickets are refundable, and we do hope to see you again really soon!" the announcement read in part.
"The UK, Ireland & US legs of the tour are not affected. Thanks for your ongoing support. Lots of love, The Wanted xx."
