The Wanted have postponed the second season of their reality show.
The band appeared in The Wanted Life on the E! network this year but fans will have to wait to see more of their shenanigans in America.
They turned down the chance to film more scenes in order to put a better effort into their album.
"We were going to start shooting this month but we're on tour," Max George told Britain's Daily Star. "Then we've got the new album promotion to do."
The singer explained that going ahead with recording would cost too much money when they didn't have the energy to give it their full attention.
"We bumped into one of the execs in LA the other day and they're really excited to do a second season," he shared.
"But to get a crew to follow us all the time on tour would cost a lot, and people want to see the normal stuff as well as the work side on tour."
Their third album Word Of Mouth comes out on November 4 and a world tour is expected in 2014.
The quintet received some criticism from viewers of the show but Max maintains that the group weren't faking anything.
"We all had negative comments but I think it came across as pretty accurate," the 25-year-old added.
"We'd all watch it back and say: 'I can't believe I did that,' as some of it was a bit embarrassing, but often I'd watch and think: 'The boys are really funny.'"
Their fresh tune Show Me Love (America) is first released on October 20.
