The Wanted proud of best ever album

The Wanted can't wait for the unveiling of their "strongest album to date".

The chart-topping boyband - consisting of Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Nathan Sykes and Tom Parker - have enjoyed international success with previous records The Wanted and Battleground.

Their third studio album Word of Mouth will launch on September 16 and the boys can't wait for its release.

"It's taken us two years to make this album and now that it's finally finished we are all really proud of the time and effort, not just that we put in to it but all the writers and the label too," Tom gushed, according to mtv.co.uk.

"We think it's our strongest album to date. We can't wait for our fans to hear it. They've been really patient but hopefully they'll think it's worth the wait!"

The album will be preceded by new single We Own the Night, which will receive its radio premiere on August 5. Band member Nathan claims the group are "massively excited" about sharing the song with fans.

"It takes us right back to the sound which everyone knows us for and sets the mood for the album," he exclaimed.

Word of Mouth will also feature tracks including Walks Like Rihanna and I Found You.

The band announced the details on Twitter today.

"We are really excited to announce our brand new album is called #WordOfMouth and will be released on September 16th!! (sic)," said the band's official page.

"We can't wait for you to hear it we know you've been really patient but hopefully you'll think it's worth the wait!! #WordOfMouth."

Nathan also tweeted from his personal account, posting: "So excited to release #wordofmouth! We worked really hard on this album to deliver a fresh but familiar sound! Can't wait for u to hear it!! (sic)."
